| History: |
In 1904, Imoinda M. Clarke (a single woman) filed for 160 Acres of land in Park County under the Homestead Act. The original home is still standing
as well as the outhouse. The family raised cattle, cows, chickens and planted
crops. In the late 1930’s the family moved to Michigan. Imoinda’s
family still owns the homestead and built the current cabin in 2000. |
