The Quaken Aspen was named for the grove of Aspen trees that surround the cabin, you can sit on the deck and hear them “quake”, and it is the most peaceful sound. Perched on a hill it has unobstructed views of The Collegiate Peaks and The Mosquito Mountain Range from the living room, dining room and deck. You will feel right at home when you step inside to a newly decorated, warm and inviting great room which features tongue and groove walls and vaulted ceiling. You will enjoy a cozy living room with a wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The decor is mountain lodge with touches of leather and log. The master bedroom, second bedroom and full bathroom complete the main level. The lower (above ground) level features a family room with a 42” flat screen TV, a full bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer. The Quaken Aspen is spacious enough for a family of 5, yet cozy enough for a romantic getaway for two.
After a long day of sightseeing, imagine cooking up some steaks on the deck and dine while being serenaded by the soothing sound of the Aspen trees quaking in the cool, crisp mountain breeze, while you marvel at the fantastic vistas and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Top off your day with a relaxing soak in the full size hot tub. Be sure to bring your camera, you never know what wildlife may stop by during your visit, and your friends will be green with envy when you show them pictures of “your beautiful Colorado mountain getaway”. The cabin is located 5 miles North of Cripple Creek which is rich in beauty and history, make plans to visit the local places of interest and the Pikes Peak area attractions.
