The Colorado is an open, spacious, beautiful mountain home. It is tastefully decorated in a lodge décor, with leather and log furniture. The cabin is peaceful and serene surrounded by Evergreen and Aspen tree. Step into the great room, featuring tongue and groove vaulted ceilings and walls with tile
and carpet floors. A wall of floor to ceiling windows provides natural light and awesome
views of the West side of Pikes Peak. The well equipped kitchen and spacious dining
room enjoys the same views. The great room opens to the wrap around deck where you can
enjoy a morning cup of coffee and listen to the Aspen trees quake in the wind. A sitting
room, half bath and laundry room complete the first floor.
The master bedroom and bathroom are in the upper level loft, it features a log queen
size bed and a large soaking tub.
Mom and Dad will love the lower walk out level, as they sit by the fire and enjoy a peaceful mountain evening in the great room, the kids can entertain themselves with the multi game
table, or watch their favorite movie. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep in a bed,
the family room is complete with a log canopy bed with privacy curtains and a day bed with a trundle. The second private bedroom and bathroom complete the lower level.
Located on a quite mountain road, the cabin is convenient to local attractions. Hiking is
just minutes away at Mueller State Park and The Crags. Visit the historical gold mining
town of Cripple Creek where you will find casinos and fine restaurants. If fishing is your
sport, Skaguay Reservoir is about 45 minutes south. After a day of adventure, you can return to your cabin, cook some burgers on the grill and enjoy crisp mountain air as you dine on the large deck, and then top off the day with a relaxing soak in your own private hot tub.
